WHAT IS ROGUE RADIO?

 

Rogue Radio is a FREE mod for FALLOUT 4 created by the indie music publisher / union, Rogue Records America.
The publisher, looking for another way to get its bands the exposure they deserve has moved into making mods for videogames in the hopes that new fans will be engaged by the awesome content it makes for them and hopefully...be inclined to check out the artists and support them ...eventually becoming fans.

We live in a digital age where content is king. Content when, where and how you want it is also key. Rogue feels that if we make compelling content that in return you the end user / fan will enjoy the media and material our artists have to offer you.

What's the story behind the mod?
The Rogue Radio Lore:
 

Johnny Rogue is the only survivor of Rogue Records America after the war.

He's wondered the wasteland for years with no home and no one. One day, while walking the wasteland contemplating just offing himself since he's alone and homeless....he came across the Radio station Crab Hands Klaus was residing at / protecting.

 

Some would say it happened by chance...

For you see, as Johnny shuffled down the empty torn up road to his possible perminant resting place, he heard cries for help coming from just north west of where he was standing. He could see a small building that was pretty broken down...he could also make out 4 big shadows and one small one. THe small one looked like it was running around avoiding the big ones. So, like Johnny does...he heads toward what is obviously trouble...and that, is where he meets Crab Hands. (he's called crab hands because he was mutated from the fallout and has grotesque claws for hands now.)

 

Crabbie was being attacked by super mutants AND Ghouls...it was enough to make Johnny's blood boil so with guns a blastin...Johnny ran in screaming like a big monkey and saved Crabbies life.

Crab Hands was beyond thankful and being ever grateful allowed Johnny to live there at the station with him. The two became friends quickly and one night while on a Nuka Cola binge...high off the sugar. Johnny had an idea.

 

"why don't we make a radio station?" he exclaimed to Klaus.

​

"We can fix this old place up, get the equipment working i'd bet and i can be the Dj and play all the old music I miss hearing so much, you can be my partner in crime buddy."

 

Crab Hands was excited but he didn't want to be on air...Johnny was also excited as it was something to do besides wander the empty that is the wasteland.. AND ...he had a new friend.

 

The two got to work and over the course of 3 years...got the station online. Johnny was amped up.

 

"I can practice my Dj voice"...he cleared his throat and started talking in what could possibly be the WORST campy Dj impersonation ever.

 

Even crab hands frowned

 

"listen...in order to get this right, I'll have to practice alot...and watch a lot of old Ryan Reyonolds movies...but I can do it" Johnny joyed. He was determined to make this happen.

 

Over the last year, he practiced his cheesy Dj persona and the duo had tons of fun in the process..until one day.

 

During Johnny's 3rd day of non stop music, they heard a knocking on the door. While on the air Johnny had Crab hands answer it.

 

"its not every day we get a visitor crabbie...wonder if its my instacart? they are a little late but...ok!" Johnny quipped as he quietly loaded his gun behind the Dj console. Johnny kept talking on the air as if nothing was going down...but he and Crab Hands...where ready.

 

Crab hands slowly opened the door to find a tall beautiful woman loaded to the teeth with guns and .... with a dog!

The wanderer introduced herself as Fearless Fama...and asked the boys for shelter.

 

"i've no home and i'm hungry, I heard you guys on the air and I love what you play and the fun you both have. So I wanted to come by and see if i could be of some help? I used to be a Dj back in the day." She said while letting herself and her dog in.. "oh this is Baron by the way, he's a great watchdog, he can let us know if a radier or super mutant is near"

 

The boys ...shocked that someone came to them and ISN'T hostile...took her in...eventually she got on the air as the second Dj and since then its been like the Three Amigos...sans Martin Short, Steve Martin and Chevy CHase...cause ya know...in this story...they are dead.

 

and that my good friends...is how this all started....for fakeies.
